Let's get started!
1. Lay each cuff right sides together, pin at the 4 inch short end and sew using a 3/8 inch seam allowance. Press seam open with an iron.
2. Fold the cuff in half so it is a shorter loop (2 inch tall loop) and press with an iron.
3. Run a basting stitch around the bishop sleeve's edge, leaving a 6 inch tail at the beginning and end.
4. Gather each sleeve until it is the width of the cuff.
5. Slide the cuff over the sleeve's edge, with raw edges touching and pin.
6. Sew using a 3/8 inch seam allowance.
(or check out the video HERE to watch how to gather it with clips)
7. Try it on, mark hem, press up hem with an iron, pin and sew your hem!
You're done!!

I hope you loved sewing the Addie Top with us! We have the Hailey Hoodie bishop sleeve pattern that just hit the shop! Check it out here! You can take these skills you learned and use the bishop sleeve on any pattern you like! I think you will definitely like the fit of the Hailey! It's a slim fit hoodie, bishop sleeves, elongated cuffs, optional kangaroo pocket, optional hood or neckband. Plus, there will be a V-neck hack next week and inside pockets! Stay tuned!
